International Human Resource Management (HRM)

International HRM refers to the study of the human resources internationally that how it is implemented in various multinational and global companies. What all different kinds of processes, procedures and the processes are being implemented across the world and how these processes are religiously being followed? Every country has a different lifestyle, kind of people, culture and the habits so based on the people’s behavior and their attitudes only the International human resource department plays its role. And it is every essential to have processes based on the needs and the requirements of the people and the business model.

All the companies are now not operating in their own countries whereas they have not expanded their operations in various other countries and hence the survival would be there once the company has adapted in the culture and as per the requirements of its people. Unless the companies migrating to other countries and expanding their business will not do the PESTLE analysis of the country and other conditions, will not be able to make its place in the market and hence will not grow its product and the services and even its people.

Study of this branch of International Human Resources gives us an edge in the competition and hence the companies who are able to understand and implement its processes and systems as per the requirements specific to the country and its people will definitely be able to excel in the race of competition.

The study of the International Human Resources will include the following:

a. Socio-Cultural Conditions – It will include the analysis of the social, cultural conditions, habits and the behavior of the people. It will comprise of their castes, creed, religion, race, habits, foodies etc.

b. Political Conditions – The political stability of the country is also an important criterion of the expansion and flourishing of the business in a specific country and in case there is political instability and the government is unable to bind people then the company will never be able to expand itself as per its targets.

c. Economic – The financial and economic condition of the country should be strong and the currency should be solid in other markets, then the business will never get a setback.

d. Environmental – The environmental should be supportive in terms of the business expansion. The resources should be available at ease and should be cheaper in order to get the material for the production of the products or the delivery of services.

e. Technological – The business is always supported as technology acts as a backbone for it. In case the technology is weak in any country then the company will remain behind in the era and the race of the competition.

So doing the overall analysis of the various conditions by the use of PESTLE Analysis will help in expansion of the business and this all can be studied through International Human Resource Management which is the sole criteria of expanding a company business and increasing output and making global and international presence in the longer run in the global market.
